I was looking at the back ones and I hope that the intake doesn't need to come off to replace them....

What have you guys seen out there? The fronts are so easy and accessible they could be done by a kid!

Just replaced all 6 on a 12 impala this morning following the advice of the video and it took 45 minutes. Only reason it took that long was because had issues in the cold with the white plastic clips. The back 3 were not an issue, turn the coil pack with the boot a quarter turn and the boot slides right past the intake. Any shop charging parts and labor to replace a gasket for plug replacement on this car should be ashamed.

Thank you to the poster of the video, saved me some money and time!

Could I ask how many miles were on your old plugs and what brand and part number you replaced them with? Thanks in advance.

Car had original delco's with 110,000. Plugs actually looked ok. Replaced with autolite xp iridium's. Believe they were 5263.

Dealer tried to get my wife hooked in for a lot of services while she was getting a quick oil change last week, cabin air filter, air filter, plug change, fuel injector cleaning service.......

Spark plug change on the 12 impala is not bad at all. No idea how much the dealer charges for it, but it would be a 30 minute job tops in a shop. Removing the intake manifold cover is totally unnecessary.
