i know the stock throttle body size of the 7th gens

LA1 56mm (3400, 3.4L)
L32 65mm (3800, 3.8L)
L67 69-70mm (3800 Supercharged, 3.8 Supercharged)

So instead of paying almosts 300 for a 65mm throttle body for my 2004 impala with the 3400 motor 1999-2005 Pontiac Grand Am Billet 65mm Throttle Body - TCE Motorsports - Shop By Brand - MP Racing Store

i thought i could just get a L32 TB from junkyard and install

SO my question to you all is will it fit? is it plug and play? has anyone tried this before? will i need a different upper intake manifold?

l67/l36 may w/ the proper adapter
the reason that one is so much is bec its billet

Do you know of any that you could suggest that are not billet that would be a more wallet friendly setup?
