You should.wax your car once a month. Do a strip wash at the end of the month so the new wax will go through the next month.

Clay bar, polish and wax. Preferably polish with a da and not by hand. Also turtle wax sucks a big one and so do cheap Walmart paste waxes. Get some Adam's or meguiars pro line. Not that consumer junk in the red bottles.

Yup wax is a protectant. The stuff that shines is full of crap fillers that only hides bad paint.

Take.some detail spray, spray the bird bomb and wipe with a microfiber cloth.
