Hi, guys. I am now an Impala owner with an 08 LS of 54k miles. I do have 1 question. Accordingly to Chevy website, all 08 impalas are equipped with a CD/mp3 player standard but my car doesn't play mp3 disk I just burned. Is the player picky on the disk or I got it wrong such that mine is just a plain CD player without mp3 capability? The owner manual does mention something like CD player without mp3 though.

It also depends on the way the disc is burned. Mine will not play mp3s if i just burn them like a normal data cd. I have to use a cd recording app, not windows.
So, I use Nero, and then select "jukebox/mp3 cd" option. This works just fine in mine (2007 lt) whereas burning them all other ways it says "no files on disc" i think when i put it in.
