Lugs, you go ahead and flush your transmission. Nobody else do it though.
It IS correlated to failures in these particular transmissions. I would not say that transmission flushes generally are always bad, but these transmissions are made out of glass and toothpicks and the flush in this particular application makes them even worse. The flush is not the primary cause of failure - the crappy transmission is the cause of failure. Several cases exist where it seem to speed up the failure though.
