I am having trouble understanding why rebuilding a suspension on an old car that has never been in an accident could not be set back into alignment without a special control arm. Is it because springs and shocks have gotten better over the years raising the car past the original ride height specs for an alignment? could it be that other parts have just settled over the years and don't like change?
