So after doing much research I have realized that I need to replace my Pressure Control Solenoid on my 4T65E Transmission in my 2005 Chevy Impala 3.4L. I have been looking all over for how to access this solenoid and I am getting conflicting info. Some written guides say you can access it by removing the trans oil pan and some picture guides say you have to access it through the wheel well (remove trans side cover). Before I spend over $100 on this solenoid I want to make sure I can do this job and I know how long/complicated it will be.

Thanks in advance for any info.

You have to drop the driver side engine cradle down, to gain access to the side pan on the trans.
