I have a 1984 C-10 Chevy truck 2wd. When I press on the break pedal, it almost goes to the floor before the truck feels like its gonna stop. A couple weeks before the brakes squealed a little bit when Id stop but not now. What is the problem? Does my truck have drum brakes on front and back or disc and drum? Somebody please help me, I need to get it fixed in hurry!

if your pedal is sinking to the floor its possible its the master cylinder going bad, that truck should have drum on the rear and disc on the front, you need to check and make sure it hasn't blown a wheel cylinder on it,if it has this will explain it going way down to the floor, but this really needs to be checked out ,it sounds like it might be a little un-safe to drive like this, good luck on it.
