...work 12 feet from the car.can not use WITH THE IMPALA REMOTE STARTER IT HAVE NO RANGE ,WITH MY 05 MALIBU I COULD START IT FORM THE HOUSE,SO WHY CHARGE FOR SOMETHING,? THAT YOU HAVE TO GO OUT SIDE AND WALK TO THE CAR TO START.?
Is that what the owners manual said? If not may have a problem with a week battery in the remote? Yes it can happen even with a new car. Or could be a problem with the recieving attenea on the car itself. If not either and the owners manual does say to start with in 12 feet it could be a safety feature to be sure that your car is where it should be and that you can see that no else is around that may try to steel it with it already running.
