...after the car has been? sitting all night. My dad said that I have a bad seal. How do I know if this is a rear seal or a front seal?
And if it is the rear seal how dangerous is this to drive? Being that I have to save the money to have it fixed the car has 94,000 miles on it

If it leaks at the front of the oil pan it's the front seal and if it leaks at the rear of the oil pan it's the rear seal. It could be the oil pan bolts worked loose mine do on my truck and i just snug them up and it quits leaking.

make sure where it is leaking from first. it may be just the oil pan gasket or somehwere else. oil can go all over the place when you are driving. the best thing to do is clean the engine really good then let it run for a while in your driveway. crawl under to see if you can pinpont the leak. post back your findings and pics if you can.
