What exactly can i do with this performance wise. I was told by the dealer that adding a supercharger would be cheap straight from the factory because it was already an ss car? Im confused im getting flowmaster delta 40 series on sat but i wanna make it faster. Ive also heard that this year did not make an ss model, there is a canadian sticker on my car via where it was made so i dont know really what to do. any good site with alot of info. its the gold edition as well.
you could get performance plug and wires, a shift improver kit, cold air intake, bigger diameter exhaust, the muffler would work good for a couple horse, chips, programmers, high performance fuel injectors. There are so many options out there and a 3.8 liter is common.
p.s. if you got the money, go for the supercharger. That could add another 50 horse or so.
The factory did not produce any Impala SS for the 2000 year model. After 1969 the SS option was droped until 1994-1996 when only the Impala SS was available.
