I do have the 350 5.7L I do know that.... but I'm searching to buy a water pump on ebay and my question is... is my engine an LT1???? I'm not sure, and do not know how to tell. I feel silly about this. Don't know if that's the standard engine for my year or an option that I'm not sure if I have or not. If someone can clear this up for me so I can order my part I'd be very grateful. Thanks!

'96 Caprice or Impala SS uses the same waterpump whether the car has the 4.3 or 5.7 engine. I haven't bought a waterpump for a couple years but the NAPA one with a 1 year warranty was always the cheapest (by far) you could find.
