i dont know what i should get...chip or throttle body or gears ??i have around $300-400 to spend. i want to feel what i payed for..i have 96 impala i have k&n intake summit mass air edelbrock headers,borla cat back exhaust..

if i was going with gears i was thinking 373's

chip-maybe a jet or a VENOM 400 performance control module

throttle body-edelbrock or holley--but i dont know if i should..or if it would be a waste the money cuz i have the stock intake

I'm not entirely certain as what I'm saying is just gleaned from roaming the forums a bit. Apparently going to the chip or the gears will definitely wake the car up more. Stock, they come with some pretty serious highway gears so 3.73s are an improvement for take offs and from what I've heard, still aren't too bad on milage.

Chips: PCMforless or something like that is the one that everyone seems to recommend. No idea about the throttle body. yet.

There is no chip, you can only reprogram the PCM, which you will have to do if you change any of those other things anyway. Btw, a new throttle body will be a step backwards from stock. A simple PCM tune from a reputable tuner will be your best bet.

If those parts were on it when you bought it, then it probably has a tune already.

Chip...no such thing, hyper-crap, Venom, Jet all crap.

Throttlebody...you don't need one yet. If you don't feel like you got what you paid for already you either got ripped off, or didn't know what you wanted in the first place.

Save more money, get 4.10 gears.

ok thanks everyone i think im going with the pcm programming has any one ever used pcm for less?? im kinda a speed guy not a qt mile guy i like to go fast on hwys

are 308 gears in the stock impala's and is it limited slip posi..
