it is not the brakes because it makes this noise while the car is in motion and stops when the car stops, what could b e the cause, and will it be alot of money to fix

Its not uncommon for the brakes to make noise when driving , thats how most of the worlds brake pads let you know they need to be changed . They have built in tabs that make the squeek when it comes in contact with the rotor .

Other noises while driving can be halfshafts , unit bearings , tires and wheels , etc .

It may or may not cost a lot . If your mechanically inclined , look at the car . Otherwise your going to have to take it in for service .
