Am trying to set up my "new" company car - '08 Impala - I had a milk crate bungee corded into the RR corner of the trunk of my '05 to hold all the stuff that I needed to carry with me (fire extinguisher, washer solvent, water, jumper cables, small tools, etc.) to keep them from sliding all over the trunk. '08 has hard plastic cover at rear of trunk instead of carpet so no access to metal below to hook bungee cords. First corner I took with the 08, the milk crate fell over. Any ideas how to keep my trunk organized? Are the hooks for the cargo net strong enough to hook a bungee to?

thanks...

To help the crate not to slide you can put some of the rubber material that is used in drawer or shelfs under the crate. I had used a plastic rubber-maid tub in mine and it worked great. Did not even need to hold it in place. Only 4 times in 6 years did it move and that was during emergency evasive maneuvers to avoid being in a wreck.
