Embedding videos in your post is quick and easy, so this how to will be fairly short. All you have to do is copy and paste the URL address of the video directly into your post. (I recommend using centering tags to center your video) Do not copy and paste any embed code given by a video website, use the direct URL in your address bar only.

Sadly if your favorite video site is not listed here, your video link will not be embedded correctly, although a link to the video will still be posted.

I know this thread hasn't been updated in a while, so I'd like to make a few notes about embedding YouTube videos:


First: Make sure that at the beginning of the URL, it says http:// NOT https:// The s will make it so that the video will not embed properly.


Second: Make sure that the "&feature" etc. is deleted from the end of the URL. Not all YouTube videos have this, but if it does, it will prevent the video from embedding properly.


A URL that will embed should look like this:


http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N31oFeinFY
