What are you driving..You have to turn the wheels back and forth ( without hitting stops) whole slowly pouring in fluid to get all the air out... Proper oil level os when it's hot.. You will see 2 levels on dipstick one for cold one for hot..All systems are different for amount could be less than half a litre to more than one... Pour in slowly
