Looks to be a pretty good guide here! I came across this thread Googling for tips on the radio install I'll be doing tomorrow on my own 04 Impala. I will post finished pics and any more helpful tips I find along the way. KingOfBling's picture he attached looks to be the best thing I've been able to find so far as far as visually showing me what I need to do;; thanks!!

Thank you i will try it cross fingers and toesOn many GM vehicles, you turn the key to ON (do not start), then depress the gas pedal 3 times. The light will flash twice.
Does anyone have any idea what kind of wiring harness Id need to use to connect my 2004 Impala to an ISO connection?I recently did this and trying to remember what i can from my head, i will post detailed pictures later.
You will need to remove (2) Screws which are located on each end of the dash behind the fuse panels, then you will need to remove the (2) screws above the speed cluster. Remove the black plastic piece right above your feet it unclips, then you will need to remove the plastic piece above your knees (under the steering column). Then remove (1) screw to the left of the column. Once that is done you can pull the dash out, it will take a little force (don't worry it wont break) and its out.
You dont need to get a $100 harness like most people on here say, a cheap $15 harness GM works. You will get store salesman saying your computer wont work but it WILL. Just make sure you have stuff already programmed through the radio before removal.
This needs to be relocated somewhere in the car to keep everything working correctly and is more work than it's worth in my opinion.
I have had a aftermarket unit for 7 months in my car, no issues.
This is the connection I’m looking to adapt to but can’t seem to find the right one.Does anyone have any idea what kind of wiring harness Id need to use to connect my 2004 Impala to an ISO connection?
