You need to call Crutchfields. They will be able to answer any and ALL stereo related questions you have. Here's their Number: 800-555-8305

The only way I know is to get the "Y" harness, which allows you to relocate the factory radio or to leave that where it is and add your new cd player elsewhere... what are you looking to change with a new headunit? They do have aux inputs that work if you have a working cd changer or xm unit. I decided just to keep my factory and have a PAC AAI-GM12 unit in my car which creates 2 sets of inputs for misc. audio. Mp3, Laptop, portable DVD... I am also looking into putting in a line out converter so I can have subs and an amp in. Miss them from my old car, but all this can be done with the factory radio... Good Luck!
