Yes, the Caprice is still in production...just not in America. I find that the Car is manufactured by Holden, an Australian subsidiary of General Motors. This company then exports the vehicle (with Left-Hand Drive) throughout the Middle East, where then the Chevrolet name is applied.

So how would One get this vehicle to America, if at all possible?

To import a car...

You have to go through a government registered importer. You(they)'d buy the car, then they'd tear it down and modify it to meet american crash test, standard equipment, and emissions standards. This can cost anywhere up to 10s of thousands of dollars above the sticker price.

Exactly!

You'd be better off waiting until later this year for the Pontiac G8 GXP......really, you would :wink: !
