Double check those wires on the starter, make sure their tight, if this doesn't help the biggest problems for a starter that doesn't work is a bad solenoid. You may try tapping on the solenoid and try to start it again, I have got this to work, but its a temp fix.
could be poor connection at your starter solenoid (sits on top of your starter)follow the positive batt wire down.They might be loose,or possibly your solenoid is not getting powered.(small terminal on solenoid)chk for power with a test lamp on the small wire when the key is in "crank".if no power possible ignition switch or relay.Good luck
