Higher idle than normal at start

I was just curious if I messed anything up, but before doing anything to my car it would start up and idle below 1000rpm almost instantly every day, now after replacing half the spark plugs the car starts up and stays around 1500, I would have to restart the car to make it drop. I'm pretty sure I only touched the plugs

I would finish the tune up, start it up and see what happens and go from there. Might also help if you give year and engine.

I've not done these yet on my 3.6 (LFX), but it's my understanding, in case you're not aware, you can do the rears without removing the intake, which was one of the gotchas on this motor.

Below is a video link showing how to do it. The key is turning the COPs 90° before pulling them out. Watch closely at the 3:50 mark.

Absolutely, the backs can be done on these without removing the intake. My car is also a 2012, is about a 30 minute job to change the plugs.
