08 impala 3.5L 135k miles
The idle jumps up to 1500 and goes down to normal when I start driving.
It has a miss sitting at a red light.
Replaced the plugs and cleaned maf sensor and throttle body.
Does any have the OBD reading? I have them at idle but I do not know
how to interpret them. I did get a P2127 code a couple of months ago.
Cleared it and it never came back. I didn't replace the accelerator petal yet.

I have a similar situation, high idle at around 2100.
I think the next step is throttle "re-learn". I've tried a couple methods, but it's not working for me.

My initial problem was "engine power reduced" on the screen, and I couldn't go over 50mph. The code was P2101 throttle something...I forgot. I decided to replace the throttle body and the accelerator pedal assembly. I figure if one is bad, the other is due. Next, I tried a re-learn process, but I keep having issue with the idle speed. I went through the 3min running/1min off/3min running... but it didn't work for me. I'm wondering if I misunderstood the instructions. Or if there is something on my scan tool to do it. I have an INNOVA 3160

...one of the air tube fittings, from PCV to intake, was broken and so the expected amount of air volume was out of spec.

I have replaced the tube (fittings included with tube) and the idle speed is good now.

the whole deal might be fixed, gonna hold my breath for a few more days
