Hey, I am working on taking apart the front end of my 68 impala and figured i would write some numbers down and see what you guys can make of them. I have the vin number and I think the engine number.

The number I found on the engine
18T25373 T0524HN

I would just like to find out any information these number can give me, anything about the engine will help.

for the code T0524HN

I found out that the T was the engine plant (Tonawanda)
and that the next 4 numbers are the date it was made (may, 24th) but i cant figure out what the next characters (HN) mean.

If you goin into the letter code for small block it will tell you the size of the engine and fitment of what that engine code came out of.
