Hello all,

my name is Marc, I'm 22 years old from Montreal Quebec. My daily car is actually a Nissan Altima 97 but I would really like to buy an Impala SS 7th gen (94-96) soonly. I'm in love with the car since a long time, the only think that stops me is the price. The cheaper I found was going for 11k CAN $... who's a lot of money for me.

Anyways Hello everyone :)

That seems like alot, you can find one cheaper. I suggest buying in the US and driving home. BTW, here the 94-96 SS is 6th gen, just want to avoid confusion.

Yeah I think perhaps buy in USA but there is probably a lot of papers to fill for the borders... because Im not sure I just can go in USA with a friend, buy the impala and come back at the borders without problems...Do you know whats the procedure if I want to buy in USA to be legal in Quebec?

For the 7th gen, I read that on wikipedia :Chevrolet Impala - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

But your probably right, there is a mistake on wiki

Thx for the welcome and info :)

Right, I'm not sure, you'd have to look up the procedures and needed forms
. I would guess it would be relatively simple with mostly government forms and taxes. Let us know.

Drove through the outskirts of Montreal on my way to the Quebec City Summer Festival, had a bald tire in the front, and it was the worst downpour I have ever witnessed. Hydroplaned my entire way through Montreal.

So tell me, does it ever stop raining in Montreal, because 2 days later on my way back through it was again a torrential downpour!:giggle:

thx to all for the inputs!

and yeah RyanZ17 this summer is one of the worst summer for rain... in some areas there are important floods and some people totally lost their houses...but dont worry usually its not so bad in Montreal for rain... its not as good as Texas of course but we usually get good weather during summer.
