Well first I need to introduce myself. I am new to this forum and now own a 62 Belair.. Impala/Belair/Biscayne has been my dream car since I was a kid. I love this ride and I love the looks I get when I drive her. .The only problem, I cant drive it at night because the head lights. The come on VERY dim, when I hit the brakes the headlights dim and you can barely see the tails. Has any one had this issue? I am pretty savvy when it comes to wiring but this thing has me thrown for a curve ball.. any help is greatly appreciated!!

Check your grounds. If it does not have one add a battery negative to body ground wire. Remove and clean the battery ground to engine block. And add a new engine block to frame ground wire. This will give the current enough pathways to brighten up your lights and make other equipment such as the blower fan run more smoothly.
