I have a 2011 Impala LT that has went through 3 wheel hub bearings in the last year. The dealership installed a new one first and it lasted 3 months. Another mechanic put another one in and that lasted 7 months. Now I had one installed a week ago and I hear grinding again when I make subtle left turns which is exaxtly what I heard before the other ones went out. Noone can find out what is causing this. I thought about replacing everything on both sides but thought I would ask here first. Thanks

Now that you've replaced it with aftermarket they may not cover it.

Oh well, still need to find out what is causing these things to go bad so fast. I was thinking maybe my axle may need to be replaced.

Following but do you have any vibration in the steering wheel or frontend when the bearing is going bad? Or you only heard the grinding noise without any vibrations?
