Feb 28: Malibu To Santa Barbara Cruise

Along with some Malibu cruise experts; we are organizing a cruise and lunch from Malibu to Santa Barbara on February 28th, 2009.

The meet will take place at:

Malibu Bluffs State Recreation Area
24250 Pacific Coast Hwy
Malibu, CA 90265

Time: 10:00am

From there, we will cruise PCH to:

Longboards Grill
210 Stearns Wharf
Santa Barbara, CA

Some of you guys might remember this run as the Malibu / Brown Pelican cruise from a few years back. Unfortunately, the Brown Pelican is no longer in business.

I will report back a head count of screen names and board affiliation for those who are interested.

I'm sorry. Do I know you? I don't recognize you. Perhaps if you had a signature that told me what car club you are from, I might be able to answer your question.

We actually have a nice crowd. I'm gonna post up the current tally later this weekend.

Remember, everyone, this is a nice PCH cruise. Not a gumball rally. :tongue:

I Would like to go on the run but am not with a club i have a very sick looking 95 ss is it cool to roll or what .Also i was maybe kicking the idea of joinning a club

Update:

Monday Night Bump!

I understand there was a concern with parking, but was informed there is a lot next to the pier that should suffice. Bring some cash of course should we need to pay for parking.

FYI: The reservation has been set. Should you be interested in lunch, be sure to send an email Mark at [email protected] to have your head counted! If you are interested in the cruise, but not lunch and want to break off and do your own thing once up north, that's cool too. No email required/requested!

Ah, no worries. This is more or less a chance to enjoy a mix of GM rides. Its a group of GM Enthusiasts and various message boards. I'd say come on out. You might make a few new friends.

Personally, my club is www.gmeternal.com. Check out our forum and say hi. There is a fella named Angel on here. He's part of Georges Auto. He's been out to our group several times. He's on our board too. I'll let him post up on the matter. He was making the drive to our meets when gas was almost $5.00 a gallon too!!

I say come on out. Look for me, I'll be in a black Camaro. My buddy in a gray G8. Cant miss us. Its gonna be a fun run....

Its a newer club that does not care what you own as long as its a GM type. From what I have seen, they have a good attitude and are just out to have fun no matter if its a supercharged cobalt,silverado,wimpala or impala.....its all fun. They have some fun video's of other runs they have done and are fun to watch. I will make the drive again soon as im replacing my car this week......while gas is cheaper than my last trip at $5.xx gallon.

Malibu run we will have vERY VERY SOON.
We will also discus any ?'s you may have about Wesst Coasst gathering.
