When I got my car at the end of November, I noticed one of the donut exhaust hangers was split.. so I replaced it with one I got from work and now today the same donut failed again (in the driveway) it's been on the car for only a few months..

what gives.. is it because the donut was an aftermarket piece (ROL is the brand).. should I just replace them both with dealer parts??

( the two donuts that hold the pipe up at the middle of the car)

Maybe you should go with the GM hangers. They are quite durable.

Or go to an exhaust shop and have them weld in some new hangers I haven't had any issues with mine and its been done for over a year.

I have a few cars with them entirely missing, doesn't seem to hurt anything.
