goodluck with that, you have to either cut it carefully with a razor or take the paint off wet and even that is risky, watch the vids on the site and you will see.

So I can't remember who it was, whether it was wimpyimpy or impss but a long time ago we were talking about plasti dipping rims and some of the feedback was that it wasn't a smart choice to do so if you lived on or drove on dirt roads frequently because the dirt would become embedded into the dip itself. Is that still the case?

if you clean it once a week its not really a problem, those guys neglected to take steps to keep their cars clean.

Oh okay. Clean it with just water and soap?

New to these forums, glad to see plastidip has a fanbase here already.
I'm a big supporter.
I did my wheels, front billet grilles, chrome trunk strip, chrome around the windows and the B-pillar.
It was on all last summer and I haven't had any problems except where my arm hangs out the window when they're down.

(I know I need to paint my calipers!)
