Does anyone know the benefits of a Engine Oil air breather filter? Besides a cool look under the hood... Thinking about purchasing one. Any help is greatly appreciated... :beer:

I take it this is a smallblock? There is a breather filter from the factory in the aircleaner, there is no benefit to a stand alone breather filter, people only get them because open air cleaners don't have a way of attaching the stock breather.

Most modern open element breathers do have accommodations for a breather hose. Although if used on a TBI its a really handy place to put the IAT.
