Happy New Year Everyone,
I was wondering if there's a way I can have my early warning tire system re-set myself instead of having the dealership do it?
I recently had a minor service done on my 08' Impala SS and told them that if I carefully measure my tires using a tire gauge my early warning tire system always tell me I'm 4 pounds over instead of reading my preferred 33 LBS. in my tires. Instead of re-setting the readings I'm getting, they deflated my tires to 27 LBS!:gaah:
I just got back from the gas station and once again re-inflated my tires to the proper tire pressure. When they cool down I'll re-measure the pounds and adjust as necessary.
I'm just so perplexed as to why the bad attitude of the mechanics at the dealership. Did they NOT understand my concerns?
