I was wondering if any of you guys have run at the track. If so, how fast and whats done to the car.

My best in my 78 Caprice is a 15.873 @ 89.9mph with a 2.4 60foot. I have a GMPP crate motor with 330hp and 380ft lbs, car was shifting at 4800rpm with 600lbs of crap in the trunk. I still have the stock trans and rear with 2.41 gears. I also have Hotchkis control arms and Eibach springs.

That is 4250lbs. with me 200lbs.

Bone stock 95 Roady wagon went 15.5 at 88mph the only night I raced it, actually beat a friend in his '04 Impala SS, he ran within .1 so it was close. Wagon is 49xxlbs. with me

He was not upset, he also had a 96 and knew the RWD cars were faster than the blower 3.8l.

No, up near Green Bay.

I know some guys around Indy though and there is a 96 SS that makes my car look slow as dirt.

Homebudy, The upper and lower control arms for a 94-96 impala bolt into our cars. I got the hotchkis ones. They are fully boxed and do wonders for traction. The 2.41s are sorry gears but before the control arms my car would just blow the tires out from under it. Now I need to work to spin my tires. They were well worth the money.
