of course it matters,anywhere you buy rims will know which ones fit Chevys 5 lug bolt pattern.Unless of vourse its from yo homie downtown,den dey prolly wont jive yo.
does neone know the bolt pattern for a 1980 caprice classic coupe?

i bought a car and it doesnt have rims or tires....tryin to get rallys with raised white letter tires if possible but even if i go with a bigger rim does the bolt pattern matter?

The bolt pattern for a 1980 coupe should be 4 3/4". the wagon uses the 5" pattern. the 91-96 sedan and wagon both use 5" bolt pattern.
So you should be able to pick up some old corvette (15X8") or Monte Carlo (15X7") rally wheels that will fit.
