If the transmission is original you should be able to look at the options sticker (usually in the trunk on the spare tire cover) and see which RPO codes you have as one of them will indicate the transmission model. Which engine? 2.5 4cylinder or 3.6 6cylinder? My bad, I now see you mentioned you have the the 3.6 in your initial post.

Iirc, the 6T45 was used with 4cyl. Equinox, Terrain and Cruze engines and not the Impala.

 

They aren't dual clutch or CVT, they're regular automatic front wheel drive transmissions.

 

Really cuz when you look up the specs for my car it says it has a CVT transmission I’m just trying to figure the name of the one I have and those where the only two I can find so plus like I stated I have manual capability in the car as well as automatic

 

No CVT found any documents you should revisit that source. Might actually have been CVVT (continous variable valve timing). Easy to confuse.
