Bringing this back from the dead, I'm gonna try to get one of these in my 9c1. I miss the DIC I had in my old GS.

True but, you have done more than a single option k3: Converting a base model FULLY over to an LS just doesn't make sense to me. It will never be an ls. No 3.8 and you can't change the vin

The vin doesn't matter to me. All LS options were available on the base model as well. There are certain creature comforts I am interested in and would rather do it myself than just buy a new car to stare at. Prefer hands on.

Aunt: The reply you gave me about the DIC just didn't make sense as you have gone much further and that's why I replied back in that manner.

Question: Were the body color side skirts and tail covers an option on the base?

Not sure about the rocker covers but I am pretty sure the tail covers were not. I don't really like them anyways

Don't like what? The tail covers? Yeah me either in a lot of occasions. I'd rather have tinted tails to be honest and esp on a darker color car. But, on white (don) I love the body color tail covers.

I am pretty sure rocker covers/side skirts were an LS/SS option and the tail covers were also. I believe the tail covers were included with the SS/Indy though.

does anyone know where to get the bbengineering T harness for this upgrade? because his website store is down. not knowing if i could just pull the harness out of a junk car for this or not

He doesnt offer them for sale any more. I had to pull the harness from a vehicle with the DIC and use that.

If you go this route just cut off the excess harness in your liner and leave the majority. Its glued to fiberglass and will tear is apart if you try and remove the entire harness.

Just swap the new one in.
