Hello, first of all I'm a total newbie here, so hello to everyone! I've had a '58 Impala for a few years and recently purchased a '58 Bel Air sport coupe, both of which have factory dash pads that have seen better days. After many hours of fruitless searching I was directed to the "justdashes", website, but about a year ago they informed me that they were retooling their reproduction dash pad line and to check back with them in January of this year. Same story in January, though they took my name/number and said they'd call when they were back in operation. Just a few days ago I called again and was informed that the guy who'd told be that information was misinformed and no longer with the company, and that they're simply not going to do any more dash pads for the '58's. This has been confirmed in not one but two follow-up emails I've received. So, I'm pretty much stumped as to how to move forward. Justdashes recommended stripping the pad off and going with the steel dash, but I hate to just do away with what I think was a fairly rare option. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!
