i have a 1987 chevy caprice thats sitting in my driveway for 6 years do u think i should junk it it dont start and don't know how to get it started the oil is dark black electricity goes into car but cars engine wont turn junk or save
It probably won't start because all of the oil is drained out into the pan, and nothing is sitting on the pistons anymore. You could always try to pull the distributor and try to prime the oil pump yourself.
Depending on your situation, it may be worth playing around with. If you have the time, money and room, and don't need a car immediately, then you could play around with it. These are some of the most common cars on the road (think taxis, police, official use, etc.), so parts can be found EVERYWHERE and for cheap. There are probably Caprice specific junk yards out there too I'll bet.
If it's not worth the time and money to you, then just ditch it with the rest of 'em, but it'd be easy to play around with.
