I own a 2004 Chevrolet Impala LS and was wondering if I'd be able to upgrade things from an 04 or 05 Impala SS. I'm not wanting to do anything to make the car as fast as the SS. I'm just thinking of doing simple things like suspension and brakes, to improve overall performance during turns and stopping. Another thing I want to know is what kind of brakes from another Chevy can I fit on an Impala LS? I've thought about the following cars: Impala SS, Impala 9C1, and Camaro brakes. Just curious.

It would largely be a waste of money since the only real difference is the engine. So improving your breaks and suspension would probably make it perform BETTER than an SS in corners. That isn't saying much though. :p

You have the 3800 V6 so you have some room for mods because of the Grand Prix. Check out zzperformance.com for engine mods. They should all work on the Impala.
