Hi I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get these covers off to change the lights, they are horribly dim and barely light up anything. Every other vid I see says to use a flat on the groove to pop it off but this one doesn’t have any grooves… it’s completely flat. It’s an onstar mirror for 2011 lt impala. Few pics included

I used a small eyeglass screwdriver on mine. I also removed mine from the window itself to have better access and not be at an awkward angle fighting gravity.

If I recall, mine was similar. If you look at yours, there's a bit of a rectangular looking edge. It's tight, but can flex a little. The small screwdriver edge is damn near razor thin and can make the squeeze. Just take your time and move slow. Don't want to break anything or accidentally stab yourself in the finger. One sucks worse than the other.

I would suggest a cell phone tool kit. The Pry tools can really get into tight places. I got one for my phone and have used it for alot of other things also.
