Hi,
Am about to get these for my imp.
06-10 Impala CCFL Headlights/Hi-Power LED Daytime Light | eBay

but i been reading on the web that ccfl's take time to fire up to full brightness and i will need some kind of an inverter to make them come on and stay bright ?

I do always warm my car before i get in it (5 to 10 mins) cause I have a remote starter now . So should i be bothered with CCFL's taking time to brighten up ?

My only concern is do they atleast turn on even when its -40 C outside ?

Mine take 1 sec to turn on in -20f.

Also they come with an inverter, you need a inverter to power ccfl lights.
Its a 3inch by 2inch black box wired in already.

Good to know, how often do they go bad ? the inverters i mean is it a prone to regular failure part ?
