You should post the year, make, model and engine type of your vehicle.

Describe what happened when the engine stopped running.

Has the battery been tested? Has the battery terminal posts and connectors been cleaned and checked to ensure they are tight?

Need more info. Everything was running great on the highway and then it just shut-off? Or were there signs that something wasn't right before it quit?

Disconnect and charge the battery, better yet pull it out and have it(load) tested.
If the charged battery starts the car, the check to see if the charging system is working properly and charging the battery.
