Share details to help the next guy who has this problem. Sucks when you search for a solution to a problem and find lots of posts about the problem but no solutions.

I will start. What I do is put a sturdy soft rod of some sort into the intake. I like a prybar with rubber hose slid over it. Then while prying tap on the intake with a dead blow hammer.

thats pretty much exactly what i did i put the end of a long socket wrench under the front of the intake manifold and as i pried up on it i had sum1 go around and hit the sides of the intake manifold with a rubber mallet until it gave me sum movement then i just worked it out

I prefer a 10 lbs sledge, and air hammer works quite well too
