The 24's will fit with no rub but if you put tires on it they may rub. if you don't want to lift it, I would suggest you get crafty with a SAWZALL.......LOL

Of course you can......if you can find tires that are 28" (in diameter) or shorter.

It's not the wheel size you need to worry about, it's the diameter (and to a lesser extent, the width) of the tires you need to deal with.

It's really that plain and simple.

I'm sure a 255/30 or 275/25/24 would fit fine. It's good to see someone wants to keep the box by the ground where it belongs.

U shouldnt have to lift. I have 24inch irocs with 255/30/24 tires I had to modify a lil but not much. I was told if I would have put 275/25/24 tires I wouldnt had to anything
Social:
I wouldnt do it...just keep the tire size you have now and dont be cliche'
That look conjures up thoughts of trouble. Also cops pull over theses big tire cars all the time.
Mechanical:
Changing tire size will throw off calibration to your speedometer, you may need a new driven gear but they are a hard to find at part stores only by ordering them, then you might go through 3 or 4 different teeth numbers until you get it right.
you will feel the roughness of the road more and small bumps will feel like they are hitting harder.

no lift or cutting needed. just cargo coils on the front and rear air shocks in the back and 275/25 tires
NOt to mention you will fly through brake pads like their those old school butter slats. Extreme amount or extra rolling mass Do brake upgrade before you do something as insane as that. cheaper in the long run. not to mention safer. wolnt look so cool when you try to stop at a 7-11 and it the 7-11 that stops you...LOL!!!!
that look ruins these cars, plain and simple. no one should EVER have to put a lift kit on a car. the fact that someone, well multiple people, make them is rediculous to me
?, have a 79 caprice, my friend has some 235/30/24 tires on his 4s, but would that be to much tire, Nd wouldn't they rub? Please let me know thanks
