firing order
by shocks I'm guessing you meant sparks as in spark plugs. the firing order is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2. on a small block chevy the cylinders are numbered looking from the front of the motor, 1,3,5,7 on the right bank (front to back) and 2,4,6,8 on the left bank. Just locate the number one spot on the distributor and wire accordingly. the cap rotates clockwise.
