the code says its the egr valve? if i remove this valve for a week until i get paid on friday what effects will take place. the part is only 90 bucks. my car is stalling and not shifting the emissions are screwed. So i just want to know if i can take it off or can it be cleaned? and with what cleaner?

I would try cleaning it first. Carb Cleaner and a toothbrush should work great.
