Hi all, so I just found a nice 2007 impala ltz with 99K miles for 2200 cash. It has the 3.9L and seems to be in nice condition.

Is there anything in particular that is specific to these year impalas that are known problem areas?

Any other tips on what to look out for would be greatly appreciated.

Check the range of the key fob and make sure that works, I have a 07 Chevy Impala LTZ as well with 148444 miles on it I think I got it with 90000ish miles on it originally and been fixing a lot of stuff

The 4T65E is not the sturdiest transmission GM ever built. They used it through 2011.
