I'm almost at 200K. i regularly run my cars to over 300K at least. yet, ive never changed either fluid. should i be doing that to this car?

Brake fluid would not be a bad idea, the car has no power steering fluid as it uses an electric rack & pinion.

You can get some test strips to check the condition of the brake fluid, or you could get it flushed as a precaution. With all the long highway mileage you drive, it probably hasn't had much chance to draw moisture though. If you have a brake service coming up, get them to change the fluid while they're at it.

i do my own brakes but i dont know how to do fluid/calipers etc
one test kit at napa says :no other brake fluid test finds bad brake fluid as often as BrakeStrip, so use them and drive with confidence. Simple and easy to use. Not a moisture or petroleum test. Patented FASCAR copper technology. The only MAP approved copper test.

but you mentioned moisture. is that what i need
