the paint is coming off and revealing white crust underneath it in various places, such as hood and ceiling....

i have a toyota corolla for 10 years and not a single spot of wear.

i have 6 year warranty from dealership but they said they only cover labor, parts, not paint.

i have 3 year warranty from factory, but that expired a few days ago.

Ask to speak to the factory zone rep for the area ...the dealer service or bodyshop manager can get you a number to contact or set up a meeting to register your problem. Sometimes, cars that are just out of warranty will still be repaired under a "Goodwill policy" if you can document previous attempts at repairs or complaints. Was the car new when you bought it? If not, check for any repairs that may have been done by previous owners from an accident....Your insurance company may be able to check the history. Then go back to the shop that did the paint work and see if they will honor a warranty on it.
