I bought a 2008 impala 9c1, I don't want to replace my factory headunit but I want to install an AMP and a sub so I was looking into LOC's to wire into my rear speakers. I am willing to pay up to $50 for a really good LOC I just need help finding a good one.

They're pretty much the same. If you're looking for a name brand then go with a PAC, or one of the audio brands. I've got a cheapo chinese flea market one and have never had any issues.

theres not many components in a LOC, just get a cheaper one.

PAC by FAR!! The new PAC one has a smart sense hot wire to turn your amps on, meaning no more tapping into a fuse up front and no more having to run another wire from the front!! All of the wiring can be done in he trunk in a matter of 15-20 minutes.

And all LOC are not created equal. The PAC are a nice middle of the road unit. Rockford, JL, and Alpine all have factory integration units in the 300 dollar range that are much nicer.
